Support for the Journey

My method of conflict resolution focuses on the problem, not the people.  My goal is to help the parties communicate to find a solution based on principles of the matter at hand.  Using a facilitative approach, I aim to help all involved express their values and interests to resolve the issues.  

Choosing to resolve disputes through mediation saves time and money.  Saves the time spent going to court and waiting your turn with the judge.  Saves money on attorney fees and court costs.  Mediation also gives each person a fair and equitable chance to be heard.  Meeting one of our human basic needs of being heard helps deescalate conflict.  

As the neutral party, I will never force anyone into an agreement they are not completely willing to enter.  Focusing on each party's needs, everyone has opportunity to voice their concerns.  I help the process through effective communication with the ultimate goal of understanding.
